    1. Tippy, my friend! Thank you so much. I’m so happy you enjoyed it! It’s an old song my twin sister and I used to sing at church. You should hear her. She’s amazing. I was hoping she and I could sing it together. Sometime, I will record with her so you can enjoy her voice. It’s been a wonderful Easter. The weather is a bit dicey with severe storms and possible tornadoes for surrounding area. I’ve been blessed to have family time and also, to rest and relax as I think about the resurrection and how blessed I feel to be here! I appreciate you and hope YOU are having a great Easter too. And that you are all doing well!

      1. If your sister has a voice that’s half as good as yours, a duet would sound splendid. Be careful with those tornadoes. I hope you have a storm shelter close by.

      2. That’s so kind, Tippy. You’ll love the duet! Fortunately, we mainly had severe storms and heavy rain. I feel for all those involved in tragic weather events. I don’t have a shelter ~ growing up here, we have many tornado warnings ~ and tips of where to go in the house, etc… many do have shelters and a school on the street just East of me recently had a tornado shelter built that can be used community wide. That’s more common now.

Happy and Blessed Easter my Dear Friend. He Is Risen !!!

Love the song… Absolutely Wonderful and Angelic…

    1. Amen! Our lives forever changed. Love that! Happy Monday, John! You’ll always be ahead of me, my friend. 😉 I appreciate you and pray you are doing well. 🙏🏻

    1. Thank you, dear Val! What a glorious day and celebration! Easter is such a special time. I feel so many emotions about our Savior!
I hope your Easter has been amazing too! Thank you for your precious words about the song, dear friend. I’m happy you enjoyed it. Finn and I send love to you and Mochi! 💕🐣🎶

    1. Thank you so much! Suzette, it was a blessing to sing it again.I’m so happy you enjoyed it, my friend. I pray your day has been filled with joy and blessings! 💕🙏🏻

  2. A beautiful day Karla, I hope you’ve had a Happy Easter. He gave us a gift, a very profound one. And glad to hear it in your song, you will have to do a duet sometime with your sister and share its beauty with…ahem…souls that can’t sing at all 🤣

I would have loved to have gone back and witnessed it, though at the time I don’t think they fully realized its true full meaning. Something that has so much touched us all ❤️

Great share and I hope you, Finn and family have had a lovely Easter to celebrate His gift. Big hugs from across the blue, no chocolate dolphins, but I’ll get the real one’s to give a wave to you all. I shall now go back into my element and delicately nibble a ‘little’ chocolate to celebrate over here 🤗🐇🥰🐇🤣🐾🦓🎶🕊️🐬❤️🙏

    1. Thank you, dear friend. You’re always so thoughtful! It’s been a wonderful celebration!
I always giggle reading parts of your responses (ahem…souls that can’t sing lol). Kristy Will definitely join me sometime. Time has not been on our side.
Yet, time has been good to me because I have it! I’m here. I’m in awe of how God has healed me and continues to work. A gift indeed. I can’t fathom the sacrifice; it’s so humbling and heartbreaking…the bitter and then, the breakthrough. I think of how Mary didn’t recognize Jesus when he left the tomb. She thought him the Gardener~ he said, “Mary.”
      “Rabboni!” Can you imagine?
He says each name just as he knows every hair on our heads and thoughts in our hearts.
I’m so happy you’re doing well, Mark. I’ll admit that I’ve had too many treats lately. The chocolate eggs and other chocolate delights. I’m glad you’re not sending chocolate! I better stick to real dolphin waves and better diet choices for a while!
Finley is doing good. She’s a happy little girl after playing all day (and a bit barky today so sleep is good!).
We send our love and hugs across the big blue!! Many blessings! I appreciate you! 🙏🏻🐇🐣💕🎶

      1. Glad your ok Karla, you were a little quiet after your last round of tests etc. So I do send lots of love to you kind lady, a little boost with any chocolate to enable some energy for those healing walks in the forest at least. And I am glad it is that time to walk with Jesus for you, and touch a little closer those gifts we don’t fully realize yet ❤️

And yes, He does know us all. I’m not sure how to explain this, but I seem to have ‘settled’ into that gift a little more. Becoming like an old pair of shoes where its comfort…just is. It’s surprising me but in such a good way 🤗

Keep your heart open Karla, there is much more love coming your way. Much love from over here too, and chocolate waves too. Enjoy the celebrations, and take care 🤗🐇🥰🤣🐾🦓🎶🕊️🐬❤️🙏

      2. Thank you, dear friend! Those quiet times did involve a few health appts and tasks to move forward with a possible new treatment. I’m in a holding pattern as I wait to hear. If it doesn’t come to fruition, it’s not meant to be.
Although I sound confident about that, it took me a while to “work” into that confident statement. When I heard a new chemo was approved for this cancer, I immediately thought of the progression in my bones and how can we treat the things that impact my livelihood the most. Yes, my liver is very important! Can’t forget about that! But the bone pain, back, and other symptoms might be addressed with this new treatment? We’re living in amazing times. I’m very careful not to wish for the “good ol’ days” for God, and his gift that you’re wearing like a good pair of shoes ;-), says we were made for RIGHT now. 10-15 years ago, I wouldn’t be here right now. I best stay in his will and get out of his way. One hour at a time! Some times I have to have days I process everything. Also, just completing home things in between substitute teaching. I want to keep doing that. I’m careful that I don’t spend my entire dollar a day in energy when I’m at school; but most times I come home broke (but happy in my soul :-).
I’m keeping my heart, mind, and soul open. Finn and I send our love and chocolate waves!! Please take care, Mark! Many of us are inspired by your goodness and love!

By the way, if Ginger is reading this, let’s send her lots of love! She’s still not able to comment here, so we email! I wish I could solve that mystery!
        💗💚❣️🤗🎶🥰💛🦓🌸🌻🙏🏼🙏🏼

      3. Your right Karla, these times are for these times. Many things come a knocking specially for us and our journey, and your doing well 🤗

And in that I hope and pray this new treatment will speak to you then and begin to heal a heart with much more to give. And I feel you truly where days need to be spent with care. Some days is for contemplation, others a romp with the multitudes in teaching. I would think it would feel like that some days, you do something you do a thousand times but the body speaks back 🤣

Glad to hear your still doing some teaching though, it too is for you. You can hear the love each time you speak of it Karla. Your love sparks 🥰

And for all of it much love returned in kind Karla, and much energy to dare it all. Big hugs and take care for you and Finn. She too no doubt ever there with a wagging tail and love as only she can by your side ❤️

Oh, poor Ginger! I shall fire an email at her and see how she fares. The poor soul has had it tough trying to stay connected. I got her to send comments via email so I could put them up but I’ve been a little quiet this year so far. Better remedy that 🤗

Take care Karla, blessings to you, Finn, and family 🤗🥰🐇🐾🦓🎶🕊️🐬❤️🙏

      4. “You do something you do a thousand times but the body speaks back,” lol, Mark! 😂You get it! Lol. Thank you for your love and encouragement. Yes, please remedy your silence, lol! We need your heart voice back! I’ll send more chocolate. I’m sure Ginger would too! Much love and hugs! Stay blessed and safe, my friend! 💖🙏

    1. Aw, Mama Wenda, thank you! How sweet and kind!
I hope you had an amazing Easter. It was a wonderful day! I love you so much too! 🎶🙏🏼🤗❣️💚💗💛🥰

  3. Happy Resurrection Day little sister. Because he lives, we can face tomorrow. Because he defeated death, we have the assurance of eternal life with Jesus. Jesus loves you little sister. Praying for you

    1. Beautiful words, brother. I love that song! Blessed assurance ….we have it! Jesus loves you so much, too. I’m so happy we’re family! Prayers for you, Matt!

    1. Amen, Gary! I love it–every day is a Resurrection Day! Thank you and your precious family for your support, prayers, and encouragement, dear friend!

    1. Thank you, sweet Momma K. Amen. It will. I know it does in yours too. You were on my heart and prayers yesterday for your 1st Easter without Paul. I just read your article. You inspire me. I love you! 💗💗🤗🙏🏼

  4. You’ve got me thinking, Karla, hearts were rolled (turned around) all right–about 3000 on the Day of Pentecost alone. And hearts are still being rolled today. Our dear Savior deserves all the honor, glory, and praise!

    1. Nancy, I love this! 3,000 hearts rolled and still rolling! I truly believe the longing and searching humans have is for their Creator—to be back to the Garden; to know and feel real love and hope! And for those who don’t feel this “longing”, I’m sad. Our Lord and Savior gets all the praise! Amen! Thank you, Nancy, for sharing your wisdom and grace, always! God bless you!

  5. Karla, this is lovely my friend! Your voice is beautiful! Thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us. I love you and keep you and your family in my prayers ❤️🙏🏻🎶

    1. Thank you so much, precious Pam. It’s my blessing to sing about our amazing Lord and Savior! I love you and keep you and your family in my prayers, Pam. I picture you all singing around your baby grand, too. Often, I think of you working around your homestead and cottage, putting together tablescapes, arranging flowers so beautifully, and making the world a better place for you, the beautiful grands and family, and all of us! I’m so happy we’re on this journey together! 🤍💕🙏🎶

  6. Beautiful cover and song, my sweet loving Karla! Is this you singing sis? It’s absolutely beautiful. Been thinking about you and hoping you are doing well and had a wonderful Easter as you rise to meet each day, each obstacle, each sunrise with blooms in your heart and love that always leads the way. Love you so much!
    💗

    1. Good morning, sweet big sis. It was a wonderful Easter. I think of you too, C, and your full and beautiful life. I pray you are all well! Yes, that is me singing that song. Many years ago, my twin sister and I would sing that. I had hoped we would record it together. I did that on Saturday night after returning from the Kansas City are visiting my youngest son and family. I’m so grateful and blessed to be waking with each sunrise, listening to the birds, and taking each hour one at a time. Thank YOU for your love and encouragement, Cindy. I love you so much, too! 💖🙏

      1. Oh I’m so elated to hear that and your voice is so soothing and gorgeous. So happy all is well and the birds and singing and the sun is rising on your warm hearted lovely spirit! Hugs and more love always and always.. love you so much! 💕

  7. Amen. Because of our Savior’s Resurrection, every sunrise speaks of His unselfish act of paying for our redemption. God’s peace be with you, Karla. I enjoyed the special music very much . . . a blessed gift.

    1. Thank you, dear sister CL. I’m sorry for my late reply! It was a beautiful weekend. I’ve thought of you as school starts to wind down~ I can imagine your schedule and brain bandwidth! I started a new oral chemo this week so I’ve been out of my routine. I love you dearly, C!! I’m praying for you! 💕🎶🙏🏻🤟🏻

      1. Two more Fridays! Sip Sip, Hooray! My schedule is not bad at all, but my bandwidth is still a bit fried. 🙏🏻 for that oral chemo and every cell in your body!

Feel free to contribute! Your faithful feedback is appreciated!
