As I reflect on this health journey, it’s surreal to think about the assortment of treatments~ procedures, the surgery~I know how BLESSED I am to be here when so many lose battles . It breaks my heart for others!

I miss you, precious Pam. You are so kind and thoughtful! I try so hard (and fail often too!!). I give God all the glory. There are times I become overwhelmed or exhausted with it. Yet, once I “feel” that and surrender it, God replaces it with joy and confidence.
My blood sugar, fatigue, and a few side effects do try to keep me down…again…but I’ll learn how to navigate another new “normal” and use Spirit-led resilience and grit. I’ll get there. We were just talking this morning about knowing everything will be ok-even in the middle of struggles and heartache. ❤️ Thank you for always sharing your faith.
I think you are remarkable. I think by now I’ve heard of pretty much every kind of cancer and someone I know has it or had it. There are a lot of cancers that are hard to detect — pancreatic being one of the big ones because it’s a killer. Detecting it is extremely complicated until it’s big enough to show up on a scan. My brother died of it and my mother of lung (previously breast) cancer. Your ability to rise above the awfulness and live well heartens me.

I’m sorry for your losses because of cancer.
Unlike typical pancreatic cancer, I have to count my blessings that this one is being managed for now.
It’s a marathon. I know I’m fortunate compared to so many. I must continue with gratitude. I do “allow” myself time to grieve, FEEL, and/or rest. And the time to live, despite it, is more enjoyable. My routine has changed up a bit. It’s important I stay flexible and patient. If this were 10-15 years ago, I don’t think I’d be here or even able to live it out the way I am.
Thank you, again, for your support and encouragement! Please give Garry my best, too. I hope and pray you are both doing the best possible (and Owen and Duke, too). ❤️
