Wacky Wednesday

It seems my MUST-DO’S require technology, radiology, oncology, hematology, anesthesiology, and urology.

My WANNA-DO’S revolve around cardiology, zoology, ecology, archaelogy, geology, theology, and ideology.

I’m beginning to really wonder about anthropology because of criminology.

“We’re all apart of an ology!” ME? I’m all about love-ology! I’ll share part of this study by saying, “You are loved!”

So, the day’s been a little wacky because I was awake ALL night with the Orionids in the sky? If you know me, you know I don’t sleep during a full moon, too! Maybe I need to brush up on my astronomy and astrobiology!

Despite the wacky, weird, and worn-out, I can STILL worship, wait in hope, and use wisdom to make this a worthy Wednesday!

What’s your favorite “ology”? Is your Wednesday wacky, weird, weary, or wonderful?

The cross alone is our theology.

Karla, when it comes to wacky, weird, wonderful, welcoming, wildly imaginative, and whimsical, they add up to YOU young lady!

Your unwavering faith will take you through the entire alphabet, and then some.

    I’m with you, let’s focus on love-ology!

Keep on keeping on and doing what only you can do. Stay strong. Don’t forget to rest.

Love and prayers to you and sweet Miss Finley. šŸ™šŸ»šŸ’•šŸ™šŸ»ā¤ļøšŸ™šŸ»šŸ’™šŸ™šŸ»šŸ’œ

    1. Ginger, it tickles me that I get to see your name here again! Everyone, Ginger is back for good, yay!
You are so sweet and kind to me (and Finley!).
Focusing on love-ology sure keeps all the other “ologies” from taking center stage, lol!
Today, it is my blessing to go and support a brother of my college friend who just found out he has cancer. He will be at the same place I go at 3 so I’ll go and sit with him. To me, Ginger, even if my strength is gone, I can still have supernatural power because of God. And love–I can do that even when I’m weak! Or tired and wacky!
Finley and I love you!! ā¤ļøšŸ’ššŸ¤—šŸ™šŸ»ā£ļø

    1. Tee hee! Thank you, Brent! I’m sorry I had to leave our meeting–I’ll be leaving the house in a few minutes and wanted to “see” everyone as I’ll be in KC next Wednesday for my MRI, CT, scans, and bloodwork (and Halloween with the kids!). Please give the group my love and regards! Also, I’m praying, always, for you and your Mom! Take care, my friend. I appreciate your support!

  2. Oh girl, this made me smile! You crack me up. 🤣 I will take f love-ology as my favorite. This has been a weary, but wonderful Wednesday and wacky as well!
    Love you, my friend!
    šŸ’—šŸ’›šŸ©·šŸ’šā¤ļø

    1. We’re in it together (and I’m sure, Tippy, too ;-). I’m glad it made you smile. I think that smiling and laughter are healing!
Even wackier? As I sat at the computer my keyboard wouldn’t work and I just started laughing. Obviously batteries right? Put in new batteries. Nope! After investigation, Google-ology, I ran the troubleshoot. Nada.
THEN–I decided to look for driver updates on ALL devices hooked to PC. Nada.
Found the section in settings JUST for keyboard-winner! Driver update. THEN, a whole Windows Update. I’m scared to jump on FB for when I shared it there Microsoft SPOKE to me and said my account has been frozen as I apparently clicked on malware? Wacky? Weird?
Giggling is good! C, we’ll get to talk face to face in heaven. No technology needed! Yay!
I love you, my friend. I pray your day continues to be MORE wonderful than weary and wacky. I hope you rest, too!
I’ll be out a couple of hours and return to read blogs. Take care, C!

      1. Yes, on no technology in heaven needed and no worries about Malware!
Laughter is the best natural medicine around! 😊
        šŸ¤—šŸ¤— Hugs!
I am good physically! Just was a little emotionally weary due to parenting issues, but all is well. I will “see” you in a few hours. 😊

    1. I couldn’t wait to read your response considering you know SO many words! If you don’t like studying is it called noology? And to go shallow, lowology? 🤪

      1. I think it would be called antiology.

By the way, we got the cat. He’s a fun little kitten, and is getting used to our dogs very quickly. Now our dogs just have to get used to him.

      2. What a cute name!
I had a tuxedo cat once! I thought it was a boy and named him Lewis (after Meriweather) and turned out “he” was a girl! Lucy was a cutie! But unfortunately someone close to me was allergic. But a good home was found!

      3. Too bad about the cat allergies. Cats are fun. We’re not allergic, but I do believe my wife’s knickknacks are allergic to cats. She’s been grousing this morning about how her knickknacks on the windowsills are now in grave danger.

    1. John, I had a sneaky feeling you’d like this part of my brain slipping out! It’s good space to empty and fill again for smiles! Thank you for bringing a smile to my face!šŸ„°ā˜ŗļø

    1. Aww, Cindy! You’re so precious! You’re kind and supportive always! You are a wonderful guru of life too! I love you, big sis!!! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

      1. Awww, C. This made my morning. How sweet to say. I feel that way about you too! ā¤ļøā™„ļøšŸ™šŸ’•šŸ’•šŸ„°šŸ„°

  3. My Wednesday is turning out to be a little on the weary side, frankly. Maybe I have the same full moon aversion you suffer from. I am sorry to hear that your life involves so many medical-related “ologies” these days. Glad to hear your North Star is Jesus and his time-tested love-ology. Let’s have more, please!

    1. Russell, I’m sorry your day has been on the weary side. I’ve thought a lot about you and Joan in the last week as I was looking at camping pics, remembering your Class B, and most importantly, the health challenges you both have overcome.
The “ology’s” take on life for all of us! My brain works in strange ways at times (and I’m happy it does lol). I’m glad my heart is still completely Christ’s! God bless you both! I’ll keep you in my prayers. I’m interested in knowing how you’re doing, but understand this thread may not be the place to share. šŸ™ā¤ļø

  4. Yes…love-ology. I can dig for that every day Karla šŸ¤£ā¤ļø

Archaeology because I love it when they dig something up and discover more of what we were. And especially when its bibliology to confirm the environs of the writings and characters within the Bible.

Me-ology when I discover something about myself. Mind you that can be a bit scary šŸ˜‚

Choc-ology is the art of discovering what I shouldn’t have, but then want it all the more. Why does chocolate do that? 🤣

And of course spirit-ology. Discovering that all along I’ve had these incredibly beautiful guardians, angels, God, Jesus, me, and their spiritual guidance trying to keep me off the chocolate and focus on feasting on the love instead šŸ¤—šŸ„°ā¤ļøšŸ™

Many blessing from me and ‘my gang’ Karla, I hope all is well and your spirit-ologists are guiding you beautifully šŸ¤£ā¤ļøšŸ™

Lot’s of love, many hugs to you & Finn, and prayers your journey is finding that love too Karla. And yes, that cross alone is that guiding light to any adventure trail we follow šŸ¤—ā¤ļøšŸ™

Hang in there kind lady, may they dig and only ever find that beautiful love within you šŸ¤—šŸ„°šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ˜ŽšŸ›µšŸ„¾šŸ¾šŸ¦“šŸŽ¶šŸ¦¢šŸ¦‹šŸ•ŠļøšŸ¬šŸ³ā¤ļøšŸ™

    1. Dear Mark~ I’m not surprised you chose love-ology AND chocolate-ology!! ā™„ļøā¤ļøšŸ’ššŸ˜

Also, the me-ology. Oh my! I’ve learned a lot in that study too!

Isn’t it wonderful that surrounding all these studies is the mystery of God? Ah, the proof in Jesus Christ and the utter relief of the Holy Spirit!

I’m a learner like you, my friend! Knowing learners who walk completely in faith, proving the paradoxes of suffering as gifts of love and wisdom, is such a treasure! Truly people would look upon us and think, “they’re crazy!” 🤪
We don’t really need all the “ologies” to further explain our belief or faith do we? Yet, I enjoy learning and discovering this world and its inhabitants! šŸ˜‰

I always enjoy your responses and appreciate you, my friend!
Back to chocolate ~ I’m being very good right now and my dietician was tickled pink at my progress last Friday! It’s going to be SO hard to not nibble on Halloween candy so I’ll give myself a few treats without being totally derailed!! There’s a lot of “ologies” needed for that! Lol
      šŸ˜‚

Finley and I send our love and tons of hugs and blessings! If I get too much chocolate I’ll send some with the summer fairies who need to migrate for the winter!! šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜†šŸ’•ā¤ļøā™„ļøšŸ’ššŸ™ 🧚 🌈 šŸ‹ šŸ‚ šŸ šŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗ šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

      1. Oh thank you Karla. Halloween must be a difficult time, all that candy everywhere. And thankfully only an annual event. I have no doubt the ‘ologies’ are plentiful with lots of love and laughter 🤣

And yes, this journey with all its hard bits is that creator of our love as it tests us to go beyond what we hold. Once I broke through my fear…ah, words cannot describe that moment. But it did let me ‘see’ the beauty in it all. The journey is taking us somewhere so incredibly beautiful Karla. Love unimaginable, the lightness, the understanding. It is beyond anything down here. You could even ‘see’ with your heart. There was no time, so you couldn’t ever be late for anything. And stress, it doesn’t exist. Ooh wait, I was so amazed by it all I forgot to ask about chocolate. Um, I don’t think there is any (unless you want to create it šŸ¤—). I think those ‘things’ we hold have served their purpose. Mmm, another answer I hadn’t seen. And anything you wanted to know, was just there as you thought it. So I think I might test that chocolate thing though šŸ˜‚ā¤ļø

But no, your never crazy kind lady. You have indeed been blessed in its pain with this life. There is a powerful treasure waiting within, to open and reclaim its beautyšŸ¤—ā¤ļøšŸ™

I shall wait with open arms for the fairies Karla, and in return I’ll send a little warmth back over by courier. We’ve already played with 36C with a few friends inland reaching 40C, so there is plenty to spare. And its only half way through spring šŸ¤£ā¤ļø

Big hugs, lots of love, and may there be ever that treasure you hold in your heart Karla šŸ¤—šŸ„°šŸ¤£šŸ˜ŽšŸ›µšŸ„¾šŸ¾šŸ¦“šŸŽ¶šŸŒŗšŸ¦¢šŸ¦‹šŸ•ŠļøšŸŒæšŸ¬šŸ³ šŸŽƒšŸŒ¼šŸ‘» šŸ‘¾šŸ’šŸ§™šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø šŸŽƒ šŸ¦‡ 🐬

      2. ā¤ļøā£ļøšŸ˜ŠšŸ¤—šŸ˜ I already feel the warmth (and wisdom) floating my way, dear Mark! THANK YOU always!! Much love and hugs!! ā£ļøšŸ¤—šŸ™šŸ»šŸ™šŸ»

  5. Good morning, Karla! I pray that you have a wonderful day. And Finley, too! I am grateful for all the encouragement you bring to so many people, including me. I have been thinking today about how much I have to be thankful for. You, my friend, are someone I am very thankful for. Ours is a special friendship! Sending love and prayers your way! šŸ™šŸ’•šŸ¾

    1. Cindy, what a heartwarming and special message, my friend!
Encouragement is so needed~ particularly in these days it seems!
I’ve taken quite a lot of time to accomplish tasks today and outside with Finley, I was praising God for my blessings. I’ve been reading one of Elisabeth Elliot books and thinking/praying for all who suffer. She had a wonderful description of suffering and her faith still inspires me! I know how blessed I am. You’re such a blessing to me, Cindy, I’m so happy the 4 of us (our furry kids included) have this special bond!
Finn and I love and appreciate you and Henry. I pray your day is filled with the Presence of the Holy Spirit and good things of God!
      šŸ’•šŸ‚šŸ™šŸ’ššŸ’š 🐾

      1. I will have to add Elisabeth Elliot’s book to my book list. First, I need to read the stack I haven’t finished yet! Henry and I send our prayers and our love to you and Finley! šŸ™šŸ’•šŸ¾

      2. Yes, you would love it. I’m reading a book by David Benner called Surrender to Love (these are my 2 current reads). It’s a beautiful book too. Like you, my TBR list is long lol! Thank you for your love and prayers. We are resting today and it feels good. We love and pray for you two, too! ā™„ļøšŸ™šŸ’• 🐾

  6. Hi Karla, I am sorry but I am late-ology to this fun and uplifting post. I needed smiles and laughter. I have been a bit under the weather but on the upward-ology today! Sending love and hugs my friend šŸ§”šŸ™šŸ»šŸ„°

    1. Oh, Pam! I’ve missed you. My apologies for not stopping by. I’m sad to hear you were under the weather! Yay for upward-ology! That’s so cute 🄰
I appreciate you so much. I pray and send love daily! ā™„ļøšŸ™šŸ’ššŸ’•ā¤ļøšŸ„°šŸ‚

    1. I love this, Gary! I agree on all of this! Those legos hurt lol!
It’s a beautiful world and I’m so happy we’re in it together! ā™„ļøšŸ™ā™„ļø

  7. You made me laugh! My favorite “ology” is theology, of course. But I’m also all about the “love-ology,” as well. Is there such a thing as “bookology?” LOL!! šŸ’œšŸ’œšŸ’œšŸ’œšŸ’œ

  8. Hey, writer! I finally made it back here to write back at ya! “Apology” is my favorite field of endeavor. Perhaps if I would think more before I speak, and spend less time in apology. To hear some people tell it, anyway.

As for astronomy, I am the stargazer-in-chief for a family-friendly astronomy night November 15. Am preparing visual aids in case the weather is too cloudy, cold, or snowy and we have to gaze at stars from my projector. We are cooking up foil dinners that the people will make when they arrive (we supply the ingredients). Then it is looking at stars, constellations, and planets. Or may be seeing stars, feeling consternation, and thinking of better ways to plan it. We will see.

Thinking about the cross as our lone theology. For me, it is the Holy Spirit indwelling me. That includes the cross, the Son, the sacrifice, the sin removed, the union restored, the life delivered, and the light, truth and way of God within me. Package deals are great!

Thanks as always for writing. I always enjoy it!

God bless you both. Rascal sends his best! Oh, and I do, too!

    Tim

  9. Great Post, Karla. I was going to say “Stupidology.” And then I posted my comment on the wrong blog. Yes, stupidology. It’s always somethin’. Love you, Karla. You always make me happy! šŸ˜ššŸ˜‡šŸ’œšŸ¶šŸ™šŸ»šŸ¤—šŸ’•šŸŽ¶šŸ˜šā¤ļøšŸ†šŸ’•šŸ’›šŸ„°šŸ˜˜šŸ•ŠļøšŸ¤“šŸ»šŸ‘‘ā¤ļø
