Happy Monday, friends! No foolin’ on this Monday-I wish all of you a month filled with peace, love, joy, and good health. These are tricky days and times. But simply, you are loved. You’re angry? You’re loved. You’re sad? You’re loved. You feel alone? You’re loved. You feel unlovable? You’re loved. You’re desperate? You’re loved. You’re already loved? You’re loved. You’re disliked? You’re loved. Love doesn’t fix things; but love and kindness sure make the tough times easier to handle. Friends, I believe in you!
It’s been a joy to visit classrooms and read my book! This week I will be visiting a total of 16 classrooms (4 at a time in 4 sessions). I might be a little late in responding and reading your awesome writing. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Have faith 💛

You’ve got a busy week coming up! Have fun!
Thank you, Lauri! It’s so fun! You have a great week, too.
I believe in you too. Isn’t it great to know that no matter how tough life is, God loves us in spite of it.
Aw, thank you sweet Kathy! Yes, it’s a wonderful promise. Have fun and best wishes on the theater drama! 🙂 Hugs and love to you both!
Theatre always means drama in every aspect. She is no longer in our group.
Absolutely. I’m glad things are working out!
The video doesn’t appear to be available in Canada unfortunately. Good luck on your readings! I know they will be wonderful.
Aw,too bad! It’s Finley jumping on the futon. She was so cute. 💛 Pam, today’s reading was so amazing. And kuddos to Finley. We had 4 classes in two different sessions. The staff were amazing and the kids…well, I wanted to stay! They all gave Finley a pet on the back and each received a sticker. The Principal is going to purchase several copies and would like for me to make this a yearly tradition since 3rd grade studies Missouri history! All the kids were so excited that they already had knowledge of Lewis and Clark and the Pony Express! These 3rd graders even wrote a song about it. Kids are just the bees knees. 🥰
A beautiful poem. I look forward to reading more from you. I am so happy that you are receiving such wonderful requests to read your book. ❤️🤗🙏
Hi, Scott. Thank you so much! Thank you for the encouragement and words! 💛🙏🏻🤗 you’ll have to read my response to Pam about today’s school visit!
Sixteen classrooms! Bravo to you! What an impact you are making. Congrats also on your newsletter. You are an inspiration. Best wishes to you. 💖
Michele, thank you for the kind words. It went very well! I had 4 classes in one session and 4 in another. I’ll do the same at a different school on Friday. The kids were amazing listeners, collaborators, and the best, kind small humans! Your support is encouraging. Keep making impacts as you do as well. ❤️
It is my privilege. I love to read about your adventures and contributions toward making the world a better place. Enjoy! Thank you. 🤗
Enjoy your week Karla, how lovely to be living on purpose!
Kate, I love that. 💕Thank you for sharing and your never ending support! 💚
Too easy!
Aw,…💛❤️
16 classrooms! That is a busy schedule but working with kids is always fun – especially the unexpected things that can happen!!
Oh my goodness,…I love the things they say! The rooms are coming in groups of 4! It’s all wonderful! 💛
You are quite busy this week! Thank you for being a bright light to those young eyes that are watching.🙏🏻♥️
Thank you, Pam. ❤️🤗🙏🏻
A week full of bright eyes and eager minds sounds beautiful. So happy for you and will be here waiting. Have a great week, my friend!
Thank you so much, Brad! You have an amazing week, too.❤️🤗🥰
Have a fruitful time in those classroom sessions, Karla. I know you and the kids will get so much out of meeting. Happy April, my friend.
I’m soaking it in, Mark. I appreciate your kindness and support! (I love the word “fruitful”!) when I was looking for pics of librarians for my newsletter I chose the man holding all the books to represent you! Happy April, my friend!
Thank you so much for what you do in the world of words, Karla!
Aw, how kind my friend! Thank you, too!
Happy April to you too!!
May it bring the showers that make all the green things around you burst into blossom… including your heart.

What a full and exciting life you have Karla! Exactly as you planned it, right?
We are so very grateful that you are sharing it with us! We know there were
some challenges along the way. Everybody has them. But the further along you
go the more you can achieve! Carry on dear heart, don’t let anything stop you now!
Thankful for the reassuring love of the father towards us in all seasons of our life. 🙌🏼
Kudos to you on the classroom visits. Keep it up, ma’am. 🤗
Mercy, thank you so much! Yes, I think we all need to hear how much he loves us! And yes, I’ll do my best to keep reading. 💛🤗
Thanks for finding me so that I could find you! This post warmed my heart! ❤ We are indeed loved by an amazing God!
Reading to kids is so much fun, what book did you write? That is awesome! Writing is a passion of mine too.
Hi there! I’m so glad to know you and that you found me! I wrote a non-fiction kids book about my home state of Missouri. It’s my little “twist” on The Magic School Bus! Rather than a bus, it’s an R.V. No lizard, just my pup, Finley River. And geography and social studies my goal! I self-published and what a journey to learn it all, lol. My life is staying busy, but I try to write each morning in my journal after my morning meditation/quiet time with God. My goal is to publish on here at least once a week-sometimes a hit and miss! I’m so glad you enjoyed my post and yes, what an amazing God! Take care my new friend. And I thanked Mitch for reblogging you so we could connect!! ❤️💛 Call me Karla 🙂
Hi Karla! How exciting about your book, and that you get to share it with bright, inquisitive minds! Love it! I love dogs too! 🙂
I also self published a book with a friend. Definitely a lot of work, but also such a rewarding experience. I was able to go to schools and share some stories from it as well. It is fiction and about friendship. The main characters are a sassy barn owl, a lazy cat and a sweet Jackalope who has a sly side to him. They all become best friends and turn the life of a retired farmer upside down!
Love journaling! I write at night. I am a night owl and seems to be when I think the best. So my posts are usually late, though I want to try and make them earlier!
I post every day for it keeps me in the habit of writing. The day just doesn’t feel right if I don’t write something. But I do totally understand the busyness of life and posting once a week is fine! Whatever works for you. I don’t think anyone should make blogging a chore. Its meant to be enjoyable! Look forward to getting to know you better and thanking God with how he continually blesses me through blogging, with meeting new people.
Take Care Karla and have a great day!!🥰
Aw, Joy, I’m so proud of you!! I’d love your book! What an awesome story! It seems we have much in common, except I’m no night owl 🦉! Lol I’m a morning bird 🐦. I’m looking forward to knowing you better as well. God is so good~I don’t know where I’d be without him! I want to apologize now that I’m “hit and miss” on reasing due to my schedule. Just this morning I read to eight new classes and have made it home to begin catching up on things! But it’s all a blessing so I will not complain. I hope your Friday is blessed as well! Stay safe! ❤️💛♥️🤗
Thank you! ❤ I fell in love with my characters. Its called The Odessa Chronicles. Odessa is the name of the Barn Owl. Its on Amazon if you are interested. A friend painted the cover which I was thrilled about! I am not the least bit artistic!
We do seem to have a lot in common which is awesome! Though here I am messaging you back when you are probably snoozing by now. LOL!
Sleep well! Happy weekend! 🙂
You’re welcome ☺️ Yes! I’ll go to Amazon! I love the name, Odessa. What a neat story! A former student is my illustrator! I can NOT draw, but do love to doodle. I have a bit of a stomach bug that began yesterday afternoon so I haven’t read much today. I’m hopeful it will go away soon! You have a blessed weekend! ❤️
Very cool about your former student! Glad you like the name Odessa, it popped in my head and I love it now too. Ugh on the stomach bug. No fun! Hope it goes away soon 🙏
Thank you!! 🙏🏻🤗
What a treat for the kids to have you reading your lovely book to them in person! You are such a delight! Happy Spring K, and know you are loved, C
Thank you, C! It’s such a blessing for me, too. Happy Spring! I feel the love. 💛🤗
