Thank you, Dwight! My sweet 88 yr old neighbor told me last night that she feels she’s been here all 250 of them. She’s a rascal! We giggled when I told her she should tell her great grandson she signed the Declaration of Independence!

You’ll have to bear with me, my blog has gone with the wind so to speak. So I have created a new one at http://www.hyhfw.com.au …and it somehow got integrated with the first one, twisted the accounts sideways, and made a WordPress account with 6 usernames, 6 passwords and 6 site names. Each time I deleted one and used another original email it just kept twisting them all together.

I am so glad you had the resources to publish your thoughts in a podcast even when typing was not possible. This was a great reminder that underneath the turmoil and mess of the current American scene, there is still great beauty to be celebrated. Joan and I have watched several episodes of the series “The Americas” on PBS, narrated by Tom Hanks. It is a great reminder of the amazing, God-bestowed beauty of this place where we live. May peace and understanding prevail for us, and may peace and healing prevail for you, Karla.

The turmoil and mess–yes, I understand. I’ve had to quiet my season. For many reasons. So I have to focus ONLY on the beauty. I understand so well. May peace and healing be with you both as well. I’m walking in faith through these challenging seasons. Trusting in God, as always, and these “lessons” are tough! But so worth it.
