20/20 in 2020

My vision hasn’t always been perfect, although my hindsight has indeed been 20/20 at times.

My farsightedness isn’t so bad that I’m not clearly seeing what’s in front of me.

I’m not so nearsighted that things at a distance are too blurry.

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:28

But what I do know is that my real vision, as utopian as it sounds, is perfect. For I’m sharply focusing on what is good, noble, and kind. I throw on my shades to block the harmful rays of divisiveness~my eyes focused on the prize; and clearly love will always win.

Have faith 💚

Who doesn’t love a pup frolicking in the leaves?
I caught this leaf falling in midair ~it was magical.
Some are losing their color, some are bare, and others holding on to vibrancy. It’s a perfect nature community standing tall and embracing change.

You may say that I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one.”
― John Lennon, Imagine

Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty and the test of our civilization.” – Mahatma Gandhi

  1. This world is indeed a hard taskmaster dear lady, ever asking us to look within. But that very journey is freeing us, allowing us to see something so beautiful and profound that we will ever hold it high because we will now know what it took to find, appreciate in its struggle and most importantly become the very thing that we sought. A love and happiness that its very essence is.
May we all hold that inner flag high, as you do, so that others will have faith and know it is there waiting for us all ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

  2. Love is available to all free of charge and no limit on quantity. If only we can learn to see the similarities instead of focusing on the differences. Love will win out in the end – at least that’s what I’m praying for.

    1. Awww she flew Martha! And again today near the Buffalo River in Arkansas. She’s one tired pup! I love her so much. Thank you for your kind words and support always. You mean so much to Finn and I. 🤗❣️🐶❤️

  3. Your peaceful words made my heart feel light & uplifted, as if I were riding on the back of the adorable white pup soaring over the leaves, so gaily! Hugs to you for the joy you dispensed!

    Here’s to One World.
    We’re all in this together.

    “Why can’t people
    Just be people,
And learn how to get along.

    You know we gotta teach
    A newborn bird to fly.
All by itself, we gotta teach it
    How to fly.

    If we could only realize
We’re all just God’s children anyway,
Maybe he won’t seem so far away.”
